Since the start i have been focusing on 2 things, get more followers and get the
good parts for street race cars and hyper cars.
It took me 8 hours and 22 minutes to get the street car up to max level, but after
3 weeks i still dont have a street car filled with purple parts i want and the same
goes for the hyper cars.
i calculate that for street cars i have spend about 100 hours of grinding alone and
still dont have it filled with parts i want... (i just dont get any parts in some categories)
Now i am just fed up with grinding for them and stopped doing it.

"redacted"

I also gave bitchpanthaaa a piece of my mind in the clip he uploaded the 25th just
1 day before early access started were he explains he has no life and needs the grind
too last at least 12 hours per vehicle.

Had a laugh when he said he needed his car to be at least at 250 before he could do
the street races on hard difficulty, i mean how bad of a driver are you when you can't
do anything before your car is practicly maxed out anyways.

Freaking ricer no life pos...

I hear you. I know what your on about. But... I have to say. This kid is maybe right.

We come from different worlds. My first online game was "Dark Age of Camelot".
Took me month to level my char to max.

Then I played World of Warcraft. Well.... month of grinding back then.

The Crew claims to be an Car Role Play Game.
Still its laughable how fast you can max out your char.

Im used to grinding and Im happy its not easily done. (me takeing shelter :bow-blue:)

This kid is not right, this kid is sh...schlafen sie! (just to be polite as Aci) He has too much time, no clue about the game and good contacts at the ivorytower.

And guys like Fergus listen to him, because "he represents the community" just because he has 600k+ followers on Youtube. The majority of players doesn't have the time to play games this noob has, so he is the least representative of the community and Ivory Tower should never listen to him.

Beside that i never was a fan of stupid, senseless, nolife grinding, esp. not when you have no real diversity to grind. You have only a hand full of races you can run and from this hand full the better part are crappy courses.

I don't expect it to be that easy that i can fully upgrade my car in less than an hour, but i expect to get only better parts while upgrading the car. (btw I really miss the opportunity to buy the performanceparts.) Fortunately i'm not the only one of the longterm-TheCrew-players who is frustrated with the situation of grinding, and i hope this time they listen to us. We proposed them to reintroduce the smartlootsystem in the shape how it was during the last months of The Crew - you got only equal or better parts while you were grinding for parts, even when you did only a short and sweet jumpskill. That would be a levelsystem i can live with, since i don't wanna spend a 1000 hours to upgrade all my cars.

he sure as heck isnt right and also he said he was a long time player of the crew 1.
thats a lie and we know for a fact he will be gone to forza 4 in 2 months time and
ONLY play maybe once a week for a hour or so in the crew 2.
meanwhile he ruined the game for many people like you and me.

im not talking about a hour grind, but more then 4 hours is just to much.

And DO NOT MAKE ME LAUGH with the fraze car-pg... seriously don't
this game has no story line or anything resembling a role play thing at all.
shit the crew 1 had a story line and was more of a role play game then this watered
down version has.

Edit:

Also on a side note:
:text-offtopic:
Sick at the moment with a inflamed colon so unable to play.
It's just to uncomfortable to do anything and pretty painfull.

i don't mind the grinding ...
it simply comes to this:
if i do something i want a reward for it !!!
even if its 1 point per part
BUT what totaly cracks my skull is
remember the post i made about the 1 lvl 70 part still missing for my MX?
i already WAISTED 50 races back then for Scrapparts
mayby at most 6 parts that just improved the perk lvl

well today i FINALY got the last lvl 70 part for the MX
it took close to 200 !!!!!! waisted races/time

funny thing is i'm still not done ....
if i want al the best pink parts with the best perks

And that is exactly proves my point Luny.

Like said before, I'm not a fan of this timewasting grinding at all. I never was and i never will be.

I also like to get rewarded and i also like to work for it. And i would also work hard if it's worth. But seriously, 200 races to get one missing part has nothing to do with appropriate work anymore. This is like shovelling sand in the desert. And i'm praying that our voices are getting heard through the thick walls of the ivorytower.

Like they did when they hauled you over to paris to hear what's a must have at launch?

I don't mind to work for it, but 8 hours 22 minutes to get a car up to 280 (green parts)
is just a slap in the face and the lack of things to do is again what makes this game
feel like a DLC package smartly sold as a brand new game.

So dispite the things i do like about this game, i am rather disapointed AGAIN by ubisoft :angry-banghead:

Let's just hope the updates fix some of those...

I was digging a little deeper into this loot system today. I wonted to know if these Bonus Parts really work.
The on´s that give you better loot. (Not more)

So I did two grinding runs.

Run No. 1

With 14% better loot from perk bonuses.
And 24.5% better loot from car parts.
Makes an overall bonus of 38.5%, if Im not mistaken.

Run No. 2

Was with no loot bonus at all.

So in the two runs I collected about 50 parts each.

Here are my findings......

Run Number one, with 38,5% bonus. I got:

Parts over all: 52 100%
Which are lower then max level: 24 = 46%
Max Green: 6 = 11%
Max Blue: 16 = 30%
Max Pink: 6 = 11%

Run Number two, with no bonus at all. I got:

Parts over all: 50
Which are lower then max level: 25 = 50%
Max Green: 2 = 4%
Max Blue: 18 = 36%
Max Pink: 5 = 10%

So the conclusion is. Well yes you get better parts with quality bonus.
But you will not feel any difference with only 10 or 15% bonus, Im afraid. :|

Your test - Thank you for that btw! - shows that Lunys theory, which encouraged her to the complaint-thread in the official forum, is right.

When i take a look at the pure numbers i don't see a big difference between "non perks" and "full perks". So even with perks the lootquality doesn't step up. That's pretty obvious. If the numbers would really or better said significantly grow the more perks you have, then it would be more worth to grind. But the result is again more demotivating to grind.
