As far as i heard in the livestream i was watching today noon it will be like in the demo of FH3 that it starts from scratch. But i'm not sure.

But that is not be a problem for me as i only use it to get a preview of the handling. I do not plan to play it over again.

@ Weena
No ability to save progress in this demo, so you start from the beginning
over and over again.

@ Don
Im using the same settings i used in FH3 and it works fine for me, so
no need to fine tune it beyond that.
I was suprised tho to see they incorporated the H-shifter too, all tho i
don't have a 11 gear h-shifter lol
i just left 8, 9 and 10 blank

Anyway's i'll make a clip on the settings soon and link them here.
Extremely busy atm so only can play a little sometimes in the middle of the night.
Last 2 weeks i clocked 96 hours of work weekly  not very healthy i know...

playing on highest settings.
runs very smoothly and looks very nice, ill make a clip today.
only thing that isnt as nice is you cant take a tour of the complete
map, pretty much the same as it was in the fh3 demo lol

they might have been playing on consoles

Forza Horizon 4 Post-Launch Roadmap Detailed

Post by Weena »

Forza Horizon 4 Post-Launch Roadmap Detailed

Horizon 4 will change its in-game season every week after players have finished the early portion of the game, and after a full year of in-game seasons (four weeks) a new year will start with a batch of new content, the first starting on October 25.

The first season present at launch for Forza Horizon 4 will be summer, but this will shift to autumn on Thursday, 3:30 PM GMT and will change the season around the game world. This season change will happen at the same time every week, and will be shown via a countdown clock for gamers currently playing the game. If players are in the middle of something, the game will allow them to finish, then a brief cinematic showing the season change will be shown, with the new season changes in effect after the cinematic.

During the first in-game week, which starts for Early Access players on September 28 and other players on October 2, there will be five summer events, an exclusive new car (the Ferrari 812), New Forzathon stock and exclusives and two new cars for Car Pass owners. The Following week’s autumn events feature similar updates as well as the 911 GT3 RS ’19 car. Winter and spring will also get continuous event updates and new cars, including the Chevrolet ZR2 and Honda Civic ’18 (respectively).

After that full year of seasons is over, on October 25 a bevy of new updates and features will be rolling out, along with the continual weekly updates. The route creator will be coming that day, allowing players to “paint” their own tracks in the open world of Forza Horizon 4 that can be up to 40 miles long, dropping checkpoints along the way. After test-driving the plotted course, players can upload the track for others to enjoy with adjustable settings for seasons, weather conditions, and more. The track can even become part of the community events folder that can be accessed by players that curates some of the best player-created routes.

Also dropping on October 25 is the British Racing Green Horizon Story, which will let players “Get behind the wheel of some of Britain’s greatest cars to produce 10 episodes of the Horizon Festival’s motoring TV series. From Aston Martin & McLaren to the Talbot Sunbeam & Mini, British Racing Green will take you through a century of British automotive excellence."
