That's me :)

Post by Luna »

Hello folks

I'm Luna, Axel in RL, almost 40 and enthusiastic about playing some good games on my PC.

My career started back in 1991 when I got a Commodore C64 as a Christmas present. Two of my first games (after the must-have Gianna Sisters and Summer Games ;) ) was Test Drive 1 and Test Drive 2 and I noticed how much I like such games.

In 1995 I bought my first PC and remembered all the fun I had some years ago with Test Drive, so I continued this and played myself through all the racing games until about the year 1999/2000. There I found another great games genre that hold me for years - FPS :D

Starting with the GTA parts, continued with Soldier of Fortune, Far Cry, Medal of Honor and many others. So I shoot myself through the years until 2006 when I read about some new racing game coming up, that features an open world with stunning graphics and a car lineup everyone dreamed of - Test Drive Unlimited ... this was the first pre-order I ever did in my gaming career. From this time on I maily was back in racing/driving games. The later released car package was a must have and so I spend hundreds of hours and hundreds of thousands of kilometers in exploring Oahu. My Excel statistic from my savegame shows about 250k km :)

After TDU there was TDU2, my second games pre-order ever, for a price that even today would be a perfect deal - about 20€ incl. the Casino DLC, shipped directly from US and received even 4 day before official release in Europe :D And this was the time when I joined the online community, I never ever played any games online before TDU2. I joind the OpenWorldRacing board community, formerly known as Gameprophets, and I met my racing brother Donnie in the forums and later ingame. Furthermore I met all the other players that directly were responsible to form the cruiseanostra community later ;)
TDU2 is my most played game ever relating to ingame time. My main profile counted almost 5,000 hours until today, plus about 500-600 more hours for my secondary profiles, most of them as use for offline only.

After TDU2 there was The Crew, what is running until today and will be continued with The Crew 2 soon.

Next to The Crew I like to drive my Big Ones on the american and european roads in American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2.

In 2016 I found another nice game genre, that thrills me until today, Open World Survival Games, especially Empyrion Galactic Survival, my favorite in this genre. I play this game on the multiplayer server of the German Youtuber DaLoRiot, I help in his forums and in testing new planets and other stuff for the server. Next to this I try to build up a German wiki page for Empyrion together with another guy :)

During the years I tried out some consoles, too. So I can review some time with a Sega MasterSystem, Sega Game Gear, Super Nintendo, Sega Dream Cast, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS Lite. During my military service time I shortly called a PS1 my own, but I sold it after a few weeks because the Sega Dream Cast was technically much more advanced, not to say generations ahead at this time ;)

I'm Luna3009_CN on Steam and Uplay, add me if you like :)
See you on the road ... and the sea ... and in the air ;)
