Yeah that was the first change because of this AFK-grinders who had level 4000 even before the first month was over.

So the 99.9% of honest users will now take for ever to get new parts just because of them, and I presume that they have everything as they have got to that level.

Surely ubi could reset their level or just ban them.

That's what a clever publisher would do. Ubi/IT just halved their level with the first patch in july and like you said punished the rest of the players. :|

I'm actually leaning backwards with this game toward the crew 1.
All this grinding and the narrow roads just doesn't feel right to me. :angry-banghead:

Ouch - now you only get 1 icon point for every 120,000 followers. Just stupid :angry-banghead:

I have made another suggestion in the PitCrew.

Make the partdrop more intelligent:

a) reintroduce the smart loot system - That means you never, and i mean never, get parts under your level. It makes absolutely no sense that this only works at maximum level. A part of the smart loot system should also be the following:

- if you applied a green part, you should get only blue, purple or gold parts afterwards
- if you applied a blue part, you should get only pink or gold parts afterwards
- if you applied a pink part, you should get only gold parts afterwards
- if you applied a gold part, you should get only another gold part afterwards

And as another part of the smart loot: You should get only the same part (with the same perks on it) for one tuningoption again, if you do not have one similar unapplied part in the vault. In company with this, increase the amount of partspots in the vault. (added by Luna)

b) balance the droprate of the 7 different tuningoptions - Always there is one tuningoption that needs way more time to upgrade to max than the other 6. It's just nonsensical and timewasting.

c) in races parts should only drop with perks/affixes that make sense for racing and for the respective spec. Parts that are not or not directly racing-performance-related should only drop in freeride in the lootboxes. (e. g. lootdetection)

to get more specific here i try ot put it in a better overview:

racingrelated perks (nitroperks): should always be primary perk in racingevents on pink and gold parts - streetrace, hypercar, touringcar, dragrace, rally cross, rally raid, moto cross, airrace)

Pure (increase nitropower)

Extrapump (increase nitro-refillspeed)

Resourceful (increase nitro-refill while braking)

Frenetic (increase nitropower x%/sec while in use) - Where is the difference to "Pure"? It's a perk that makes no sense to me.

Ventilated (increase nitro-refill during jumps) - should only drop in races where you have jumps (e. g. makes absolutely no sense in touringcars)

Drifty (increase nitro-refill while drifting) - should only drop in driftevents as secondary perk

Tricky (increase nitro-refill while performing figures) - i'm not sure where this perk drops, because i never had it. But it should only drop in aerobatics or monster truck races as secondary perk

special perks for certain specs (should always be primary perks in these particular specs on pink and gold parts)

Hothead (increase speedmultiplier in driftraces)

Slippery (increase the maximum multiplier in driftraces)

Magnificent (increase scoring in aerobatic-events)

Extreme Mode (increase extreme mode efficiency in aerobatic-events and air-races)

Perfectionist (increase gate angle allowance in air-races)

Gateway (increase nitro-refill when passing perfect gate in air-races)

Gifted (increase scoring in Monster Truck events)

Graceful (increase air-rotation speed in Monster Truck and Moto Cross events)

not directly racingrelated perks (should only be a secondary perk for pink and gold parts)

Goldfinder (increase lootdrop)

Lucky (increase lootquality)

Bulldozer (increase collision impact force) - it's a perk that makes absolutely no sense to me

Bumper (increase the vehicle avoid tolerance) - should only drop in hypercar-races as secondary, since that are the only races with traffic

Shifty (increase the slipstream power)

Air Intake (increase the slipstream distance)

Drag Bump (Increase the speed while ahead of a vehicle)

Rear Drag (Increase distance detection of the drag bump)

Muddy (Decrease offroad bumps and deceleration) - should only drop in offroad races

Bender (Increase the players leanbonus for bikes)

Skilltests (should only drop in skilltests)

Skilled (increase scoring in point-based skilltests)

non-racing-perks/freeride-related perks (should only drop in lootboxes in freeride)

Sensor (increase radarrange to detect liverewards) - should drop only in freeride in the lootboxes

Detector (increase livereward frequency apparation) - should drop only in freeride in the lootboxes

Rich (increase of bucks) - could also be just a secondary perk in races

Popular (increase followers) - could also be just a secondary perk in races

Legendary Perks

The Nitro Chemist (multiply nitro duration by 2) - races, no change needed

The Loot Digger (multiply loot by 2 (max 10)) - races, no change needed

The Fame Magnet (multiply the followers earned by 2) - races, no change needed

The Live Reward Sniffer (multiply the live reward density by 2) - should only drop in golden lootboxes in freeride

The Score Breaker (multiply the score in skilltests by 2) - should only drop in skilltests

(I'm not sure if that are all, but thats all i saw so far)

:text-bravo:

the Bulldozer perk is (i guess) the crashcam sensitivety
like in Hypercar where ya only have to look at traffic to get a crashcam

Something else i found:
after the Hovercraft update they changed a lot in the PRO settings
first they reduced every 4WD car basicly to a RWD
by setting the "diff distrib" (second under the first 4 comunal) to 80/20
reset this to 60/40 and its again a 4WD car with whay more grip & accel
only 4WD cars (in Every spec) have this option
and ya have to reset it for Every car individual
then bikes they set the frond and rear tire grip to 50%
.... but than again in didn't notice any difference
when reseting those to 100% ... but beter save than sorry
as for the bike "lean" perks they seem to be not working
and on the TC2 forum there are more that share that feeling
