Desktop Icons

For the last few times that I exit the crew 2 my desktop icons/shortcuts are all on the left side of my desktop.

Any ideas how to stop this.

With over 100 on my desktop this is a real pain. lol, before I last played I made a system restore point which worked.

Do you play in a different resolution then your actual desktop?
sometimes when i play in 4k that happens to me, sometimes not always...
i also have no clue on how to stop that from happening tho..

I have my desktop set to 1600 x 900. Always played games full screen, either 1920 x 1080 or 2540 x 1440 without any problems until about a week ago, no new software or anything changed on my pc. Think it started after TC2 just closed on its own, just leaving the Uplay window open on my desktop, was flying a plane and it just closed. Will have a look in the TC2 folders to see if any of the config files show what the desktop should be.

I have this reset of my Icons from time to time. Have no idea what is casing this

lol, I really messed up. Went back to a restore point about 10 days ago, desktop icons now fine, but McAfee keeps saying it needs updating when its up to date, and Google Chrome would not open. Reinstalled Chrome and McAfee seems to have sorted its self out after several reboots.

Hate to think what else maybe messed up when I next try to open another app.

You may be correct, my pc did a Windows Critical Update on the 11th of this month.

i found a work around for myself, and it didnt happen that often.
i arranged my icons in 4k settings the same way as i did in 1080.
so far it hasnt happened again, but then again it only happend 3 times to me.
and only when i played a game in 4k when i started in 1080.
