Re: Windows 10 - v1903 update
Im on Windows Version 1909.
Everything works just fine.
Only one Problem. Windows Defender tells me that my C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file is a dangerous VIRUS

Re: Windows 10 - v1903 update
Thinking about getting one of the new basic RTX 3070 cards. Only problem that I can see is that they say the OS has to be v2004 or later, have looked on several card makers sites and they all say the same
Re: Windows 10 - v1903 update
Upgrade already, nothing wrong with it
and i think it needs it for new drivers and dx version.
you might want to wait for the newest amd card coming, it
seems to be a contender wispers going round lol.
all of the 30 series piss all over the 2080 ti so you cant go very wrong there tho

Re: Windows 10 - v1903 update
you need to be carefull on what card you buy tho, seems they cut a few corners and did it cheap resulting in crashes.
unless you get the founders edition you could be wasting money.

Re: Windows 10 - v1903 update
it actually might be better to wait for the amd 6900xt prices since they are only 15 to 20% slower then the 3090.
Re: Windows 10 - v1903 update
Thanks Mr. Dog.
I was always looking at the 3070 which is for mid October release, which I presume is beacuse of production of the more powerful cards first. Now will that mean that the 3070 will now get the better parts and a price hike to cover for the more expensive parts or just new firmware. It seems from his comments that maybe one or more of the manufactureres will update their cards to the better parts so I am in no rush to get hold of one.
It's all about the bottom line and how much money they can make for the least parts used, but this is going to be very embarrassing so will they hide behind firmware updates or do the right thing and update the cards with the better parts.
nVidia will say we told you what to use and you went the cheap way so its your problem.
What a mess.
