MSFS 2020 - Your Place

If anyone would like to see your place in a video just post your local town or area and I will do my best to fly over it.

Note that 99.9% of areas are just generic buildings in the sim.

My navigation skills are not great so could miss by miles - lol -

Well, Alicante is not that big compared to Barcelona. But its horrible to drive there.

btw: Alicante has a nice Airport. Did you start from there on your Alicante flight ?

Helicopters have only been in the sim for about a month via the 40th anniversary update. That helicopter was made by a group of people about 2 years ago and they spent a long time making it fly quite well without flight dynamics being in the sim for helicopters. The other problem being you really need a proper setup for helicopters as they require a separate collective(lift) and throttle. Using a standard joystick with just a throttle means that the sim mixes the collective and throttle and that's not good for slow speeds and landing. I use a Thustmaster hotas one that has a stupid indent at 50% throttle, making it very hard to use with helicopters. I see that there are ways on youtube to remove the indent but will have to get my Dad to do it as I'm not good at that sort of thing - lol.

Yes I started at Alicante airport, but it's not the best modelled airport. MS do some with good detail but most of the airports are just plain in detail, about 37K of them worldwide.
