I just wrote an article about the first game that uses an AI to simulate a racing engineer.
That made me think
Imagining a future where AI controls the NPCs in role-playing games like Skyrim or others could bring a whole new level of immersion to the gaming experience. With AI controlling the characters in the game, they would be able to adapt to the player's actions and change the story accordingly.
For example, in combat scenarios, AI-controlled enemies could analyze the player's strengths and weaknesses and adjust their tactics accordingly. In dialogues, AI-controlled NPCs could respond to the player's choices and decisions, creating a more dynamic and personalized experience.
