I just wanted to go to bed and then i found this:



(1st?) closed Beta starts on May 31st (and ends on June 4th) and we will have no NDA. So we can share our first TC2-footage then.

btw: Here is an interview with Fergus (if someone is interested in)

Edit: beta-duration corrected, since they today corrected the end from 3rd to 4th june.

Dave made a video about the content of the beta.



The weekend will probably again only be a chance to cruise around in the new map.

Mercedes gave out a mass-code for the beta: HFACP3HWN6J2 / register it under: https://thecrew-game.ubisoft.com/the-cr ... edeem.aspx

(beware, it's limited to 1000 registrations)

I just registered my two accounts and Luna also. So at the moment it still works. (I did it because i didn't got an invitation yet. If i still get one seperately i give the code(s) away.)

Edit: have to correct it, Dave wrote it's for 5000 registrations.

I tested it again with my third account (with which i only played the prolog of TC1).

Just clicking on the link doesn't work. Yeah

Log in --> go on "beta" in the menu --> "i have a guaranteed code" --> (platform) --> mail-adress is valid --> redeem the code --> registration successfull (in best case)

If that is all not working you can play with my third account. At least it's a female name.

Edit: It's getting more weird and weird with the beta. I just read this in the german ubiforum:

(for the non-german-speaking members: Those guys can download the beta without even having received a code )

yeah, i remember getting some news about beeing garantueed to play
the closed beta (probs because i pre-ordered)
after pre-loading it for dog, i logged onto both
gridghost's and lcddog-2's accounts and they both have it preloaded too

ill let you guys know if i can lend them out to peeps that miss out but want to try when its live and kicking
