The overall rewards include the highly desirable Nissan GT-R NISMO 2020 and Subaru Impreza 22B. The Nissan Z, teased as early as October, is a standout in the series and will be the first seasonal reward car for 20 points in Summer.

The other notable car in this Automotive Series is the Toyota Sports 800, a small but significant car in the history of Japanese car industry. Predating the 2000GT by two years, it showed the world the potential of the Japanese car industry with its sporty design, even though it was not very fast with its 45hp engine and 1,300lb weight.

Two cars, the Toyota MR2 in GT form and the Galant VR-4, are back in Horizon. You can obtaine them for 20 points in their respective seasons. The Galant VR-4, which marked Mitsubishi’s entry into world rallying, was previously present in the game as NPC traffic.

New challenges

The new series also features new challenges. Starting with a Showcase Remix event featuring a Rocket Bunny-kitted S15 Silvia. There are also photo challenges where players must find Japanese lanterns.

A new collectible event with “Lucky Cat” figurines will be available in winter. There will be two EventLab challenges per week due to the popularity of Japan-themed events.

New Props

In addition, 57 new props and objects themed around car parks will become available in EventLab. Including modular sections of parking structures with auto-snapping functionality for creating Tokyo Drift-style car parks. There will also be 23 new types of wheel rims from brands like 5zigen, Advan, Enkei, and Ray’s Gram Light.

Forza Horizon 5 Japanese Automotive Series 17 ends on March 2 and will be replaced by the Horizon Wilds Takeover. Bringing Cross Country events to the forefront and the return of the Stunt Park. Ken Block tribute events and prizes will also be previewed next month.
