Razer has unveiled Project Carol at CES 2023. A revolutionary head cushion that offers enveloping near-field surround sound and haptic feedback. Providing gamers with an immersive audio and tactile experience. This is the latest concept design from Razer’s R&D division. A team dedicated to developing new product designs and shaping the company’s future product portfolio. The team has previously won multiple CES Innovation and Best of Show Awards.
Project Carol is a new level of immersive realism, it combines near-field surround sound for clear and pure audio, and 7.1 surround sound to create a captivating gaming experience. Unlike traditional speakers, Project Carol’s near-field surround sound provides a more direct and enveloping rear audio. The technology behind Project Carol is the award-winning Razer HyperSense, which converts game sounds into haptic feedback in real-time, allowing gamers to feel everything behind them, placing them in the middle of the action.
Project Carol is designed to work seamlessly with PC and can be easily integrated with all gaming chairs, including the popular Iskur and Enki lines from Razer, using adjustable elastic straps. It connects wirelessly via 2.4 GHz and provides up to 8 hours of gaming before needing to be recharged.
